In two different school years, our class had the opportunity to design a shop window for the Abakhan fabric store in Tartu.
During both projects, I gained valuable confirmation of just how important it is to experiment with materials, and how crucial it is to discuss ideas within the team and to bounce thoughts off the instructor.
For both windows, I was deeply involved in the entire process—from planning to installation. Designing a shop window means working under very tight constraints.
I learned to understand both the advantages and challenges of teamwork.
